Questionnaire module

Requirements

Please note: n = number.

The questionnaire module must aim to obtain address information about where people usually resided n years ago. Detailed address information should be obtained from people who were resident in New Zealand n years ago, with the aim of obtaining adequate information from the respondent to allow an area unit to be accurately allocated. This allows geographic information at the area unit level (or aggregations of area units) to be determined. A country should be obtained from people who were usually resident overseas n years ago. The questionnaire module must also determine if the respondent’s usual residence n years ago is the same as their present usual residence, and if the respondent was born n years ago.

Example

The questionnaire module below is an example of a questionnaire module that meets the requirements documented in this standard. Other questionnaire modules may vary in format but should conform to the requirements of this standard.
