In April 2015 compared with March 2015:  

  • Food prices fell 0.3 percent.
  • Fruit and vegetable prices fell 1.2 percent.
  • Meat, poultry, and fish prices rose 0.4 percent.
  • Grocery food prices fell 0.9 percent.
  • Non-alcoholic beverage prices rose 0.3 percent.
  • Restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food prices rose 0.2 percent.
Annual change

From April 2014 to April 2015:

  • Food prices increased 1.0 percent.
  • Fruit and vegetable prices increased 5.3 percent.
  • Meat, poultry, and fish prices increased 2.0 percent.
  • Grocery food prices decreased 1.5 percent.
  • Non-alcoholic beverage prices increased 1.8 percent.
  • Restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food prices increased 1.6 percent.
